Dear reader, this is the last episode of Shadows. As you may have figured out, I wrote this series to show that we all have something we’re not proud of, something that’s our greatest fear, something that we may have overcome or presently struggle with.
“I can explain.” Rotimi began. “Believe me, it’s not what you think.” “Do you know how much you changed my life?”
“You should have told me!” “Would you have listened? I tried to tell you…”
The Holder family was still in shock. Damola was clingy, afraid to be without his mother, Kayinsola had taken time off work to be with her child, and Rotimi was always calling home to make sure his son was fine.
Kayinsola was on her knees, wiping blood and tears off her face. “What did you say you did to my baby?” T.J asked, standing over her.
Rotimi drove furiously towards their home, angry at the situation. He hadn’t wanted to attend the wedding; to think that while he had been at the wedding of an embezzler, his son had been kidnapped was annoying.
Augusta hummed as she put on her makeup. Jeffrey struggled with his shoes, hating the fact that he had to go with Augusta to a wedding he wasn’t interested in.
