About Me

My name is Lola Opatayo. I have a B.A in Literature-in-English from Obafemi Awolowo University, and an M.A in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan.

Apart from being a creative writer, I am also an editor, content writer, content marketer and  teacher.

Apart from this space, my work has appeared in Obsidian, Hot Metal Bridge,  The Best Small Fictions 2020 and Isele Magazine.

I am the founder of WordCaps, a creative arts organization specializing in content development, editorial services and coaching. Our mission is to help our clients find full expression for their ideas and thoughts. 

I am a member of Editors Canada and my work has been endowed by awards from the Iceland Writers Retreat and MacDowell.
